Under the general supervision of the Sustainable Transportation Manager, the Employee Transportation Coordinator is responsible for researching, analyzing, and compiling information for administrative and new service projections and reports within the sustainable transportation division. Responsibilities include coordinating UCI’s Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs such as the annual transportation survey, vanpool, carpool, bike, walk, and guaranteed ride home. In addition, the incumbent acts as the department’s liaison with South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) to ensure compliance with the annual trip reduction plan and writes, edits, and designs the division’s grant proposals, administrative and promotional materials and program policies. The incumbent is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter and helping rideshare participants design best commute options, as needed.
